Day 13 - Re-booting

Normalize
Casey woke up earlier than me... wait what?!?  She ran down to the pharmacy to get her medicines.  Then we ate cereal and used the interwebs for a bit.  We could not figure out how to get the washer to work, so the AirBnB people sent a cleaning lady over to show us.  She couldn't get it to work either.  After a phone call and some goofing around behind the washer, we got it working.  We had thought it was a combo washer/dryer, but it was just a washer.  We paid the lady 10 euros to cover for the bucket we lost in the ER.  We ran some clothes and set them out on a drying rack.  Nora arrived back home from the hospital in much better condition.  We booked our boat tickets to Santorini island early tomorrow morning (7:30AM), and booked a ride.  The website did not describe the differences between economy, airseat #, and business class, but eventually we figured it out.  Next we boiled up some chicken, rice, and pasta for supper.

Ah, a nice home cooked meal.  Afterwards, we headed out for a much needed stroll.  I found some Imodium, so the whole team is now on their way to relief thanks to western medicine :)

Tasty Ice Cream
It was about halfway between gelato and ice cream.  Hm, looks like I need a shave.  Haven't whipped out the razor while everyone has been sick.

Very nice

Next we cruised around, and Casey got her first chance of the trip to try out some shopping.  Then we strolled along the streets paved with tourists, vendors, and views.

Acropolis at Night

Cali sounds like she's getting into just the right amount of trouble at home with Brian.

Lastly we hit the sack early (10 PM) so we can wake up early to pack for our 8-hour boat ride to Santorini!

  1. Now I wish I'd taken/sent you the picture of her playing bull with my red boxers. At the point where I took this shot, though, I was wearing them.

She's going to a puppy sleepover at Savannah's tomorrow night. #funfunfun
